Scandinavian Biopharma welcomes Maria Edlund to the position as Drug Product Manufacturing Specialist
Scandinavian Biopharma continues to grow and we also start this year by welcoming new colleagues. We are further strengthening in manufacturing and are pleased to welcome Maria Edlund as our Drug Product Specialist.
Maria has extensive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing from clinical phase to commercial production. Most recently Maria comes from a position as Pharmaceutical Development Manager at Moberg Pharma AB. Prior to that she worked with product development at ACO. Maria has a Master of Science in Polymer Technology from KTH, Royal Institute of Technology.
– Manufacturing of biological drugs is a unique and complex process and to join the team in this phase, with a vaccine candidate in the late clinical development phase, is very exciting. At a company like Scandinavian Biopharma the work is based on close collaboration between all functions and gives a unique feeling and overview of the entire product flow. This, combined with helping to develop a product that can really make a difference, are things I highly value, says Maria Edlund.
