Scandinavian Biopharma is expanding by hiring a pharmacist, PhD in microbiology
We are delighted to announce that Alma Brolund, pharmacist, PhD in microbiology has joined us.
– It feels great to be a part Scandinavian Biopharma. I have previously worked to identify problems that bacteria causes. Now I will focus on preventing the diseases instead. It’s really motivating to work with the development of new vaccines that can contribute to improved public health.
Alma is a licensed pharmacist and PhD in microbiology. She wrote her thesis on antibiotic resistance. She has before doctoral studies worked at Smittskyddsinstitutet (the Public Health Agency in Sweden).
Why did you take on the job?
– I wanted to experience working for a biotech company with pharmaceutical process development capabilities and still continue working in the forefront of microbiology and infection biology. It fits my expertise perfectly. It is particularly gratifying to work with vaccines -products that prevents and helps to keep us healthy.
