Charlotte Flodin joins Scandinavian Biopharma as VP Quality Assurance
Scandinavian Biopharma continues to expand and strengthen its organization. In August Charlotte Flodin started as VP Quality Assurance.
– I am very excited to take part in the journey to develop a new vaccine – ETVAX®,” says Charlotte Flodin, who will be responsible for Quality Assurance. With my previous experience of drug development and manufacturing I will add value to make ETVAX® a vaccine that will save lives in the developing world, but also protect the travelers from tourist diarrhea.
Charlotte has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and previously worked at Octapharma as Quality Assurance Manager. There she had QA responsibility for production of plasma-based and recombinant protein drugs. She was also QA responsible for the validation of a new plant and a new recombinant drug, from clinical batches to commercially approved products in the EU and in the United States. Before working at Octapharma she worked with development and quality assurance of drug substances at AstraZeneca. Charlotte´s solid experience in both biological drugs and quality systems fits Scandinavian Biopharma perfectly based on the current phase of the company.
– I’m very pleased to welcome Charlotte to Scandinavian Biopharma. Her long experience in the health care industry are key to accompany Scandinavian Biopharma on its growth path, says Björn Sjöstrand, CEO Scandinavian Biopharma.
