PerioPruvTM-Point of Care Rapid test for Periodontal Infection
PerioPruvTM, a point of care rapid test for detection of active periodontal infection, was launched at the Dental Hygenist Days Meeting in Karlstad, Sweden, 22-24 April 2012. The product gained much interest from the participants.
PerioPruvTMsecures a rapid and reliable diagnosis of an ongoing infection already in the dentist’s office. The test is a useful tool in dental care for early detection and treatment of periodontitis. The rapid visible test result is useful in motivating the patient for treatment and follow-up.
